Hello

I am an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) postdoctoral fellow in the University of Virginia Post-Doctoral Education Science Training Program on English Learners (EL-VEST).

As a former EL-identified student in the U.S. school system, I design and collaborate on research projects focused on students' language/literacy development and representation in special education services, with a special interest in the multilingual learner population in the U.S.

My research experiences vary in scope (e.g., project management and design, data analysis, assessment evaluation, survey development, workshop design and delivery) and attend to different contexts (e.g., schools with English-only instruction, dual language immersion programs, community-based early literacy intervention).
